Panic attack
Panic attack refers to unexpected and frequent incidents of intense fear combined with several symptoms such as chest pain, heart palpitations, difficulty breathing, dizziness, sweating, sensation of choking, hot flashes, trembling, fear of dying, fear of going insane and many such unreal feelings. These symptoms often appear like heart attack symptoms or other life threatening conditions. If a one has experienced four or more symptoms recently in the same event, then he or she is said to have panic attack.
Panic attack happens suddenly and may include four or more symptoms and may become much intensive within ten minutes of time. But the length of the time will not be always ten minutes. It will vary from one person to another.
If the panic attack is very often, frequent panic attacks may lead to panic disorder, social anxiety disorder and many such anxiety and panic disorders. Each individual should analyze whether they have experienced panic attack or not. Often many people mistake other symptoms for panic attack.
