WILD OAT
Wild oats are native grasses found in Europe, Asia, and northwest Africa. They are not cereal grains and are often regarded as nuisance weeds. In the Bach system, however, the essence of wild oats eases "uncertainty over one's direction in life."

What Is "Rescue Remedy?"

Perhaps the best known Bach flower therapy is Rescue Remedy. A blend of Rock Rose, Impatiens, Clematis, Star of Bethlehem, and Cherry Plum, it relieves acute anxiety and stress during panic attacks and other emergencies. The mixture is taken as needed and is available as drops for sublingual use, as a spray, or as a cream. Rescue Remedy can also be used to calm household pets.

Although Bach flower essences have been met with great skepticism by conventional medical practitioners, the treatment system has adherents worldwide who swear by the effectiveness of the various substances. Certainly Bach flower remedies will not harm you and may prove to be a positive component of your overall health care regimen.
