Bach flower remedies were developed by Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936) and are a form of alternative medicine inspired by homeopathic traditions. Bach flower essences are produced via a method called "potentization" which enhances the "energetic signature" of the flower from which the user derives the described psychological or health benefit.

All of the Bach flower essences are produced from non-toxic substances and are perfectly safe for use although medical science regards them as nothing more than placebos. In other words, they work because the person using them believes they will work.

Practitioners of the Bach flower system believe that with the remedies at their disposal they can treat every form of emotional imbalance through the use of one or more of the flower therapies. Although often prepared in special mixture for a given individual, the essences are available for purchase at health food stores in pre-formulated bottles with droppers for sublingual use and recommended dosage information. A normal price to pay for 0.7 fluid ounces would be approximately $15 with lower prices available online.
